Dr. Hamani is a neurologist and an expert in therapeutic brain stimulation, and has performed work on deep brain stimulation (DBS) and transcranial direct stimulation (tDCS) as applied to both human patients and rodents. He has a good background on the computational aspect of different stimulation modalities. He will serve as an invaluable consultant and collaborator. He will assist in the deisgn and implementation of tDCS running protocols as applied to rodents. He will inform the project with data generated from his own animal and clinical work. He will help in troubleshooting, and will provide advice on how to drive the clinical driection of the project.
