He will be the co-director of the project execution and will replace the Director when it will be necessary. He will be the leader of the development of the new technology for photocatalytic oxidation of ethylene. He will support the preparation and characterization of the novel nanostructured materials and contribute to the optimization of solar photocatalytic performance of the novel synthesized nanostructured materials for different applications that include wastewater treatment combined with H2 production and for ethylene removal under different operating conditions. He will be involved in the studies related to the identification of solar photocatalytic conditions and surface properties of novel synthesized nanostructured materials that prevent photocatalytic deactivation during their applications for wastewater treatment combined with H2 production and for ethylene removal. He will supervise the direction of undergraduate and graduate theses and participate in research seminars, in the planning and analysis of the results of the project. He will participate in the preparation of progress reports, final reports, publications and in activities to disseminate the results of the project.
