Dr Méda's research activities focus on the consequences of new feeding strategies and/or the use of novel feeds in diets on the sustainability of poultry production systems, with a particular emphasis on protein self-sufficiency, especially in Europe.
He is also interested in the application of 'precision feeding' concepts for poultry to develop more sustainable feeding strategies for both broilers and layers. His expertise in precision and sustainable feeding strategies will be crucial to the evaluation of feed efficiency.
