As an expert in poultry quantitative genetics, with an emphasis on digestive efficiency, feed efficiency and excretion characteristics, her skills will make a major contribution to the study of interactions between warm weather and the genotype of free-range chickens. She will also be involved in high-throughput bone phenotyping.
