Pr O'Connor has collaborated on the project to develop the C. elegans screening platform. He is internationally recognised for his expertise in synaptic signalling and neural function. He is an expert in the molecular genetic approaches to be used in this proposal bringing key expertise to facilitate the optimisation of the novel technology for characterisation of arthropod ion channels .
