Pierre-Eric Campos will do the chemical analysis of cosmetic plant extracts. The characterization by HPTLC (high-performance thin layer chromatography) will be carried out. Subsequently, UHPLC (ultra-high performance liquid phase chromatography) hyphenated with high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) will be used to perform a more detailed analysis of their molecular composition. These HRMS/MS profiling of extracts will be reprocessed using a non-targeted workflow on MZmine3 before the construction of a Feature-Based Molecular Network (FBMN) on the web-based mass spectrometry ecosystem GNPS (Global Natural Product Social Molecular Networking).
