In this research project, the collaborator will be involved in the phytochemical analysis of Epilobium extracts, due to her extensive knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical botany, pharmacognosy and phytochemistry. Her role is essential in the identification and quantification of bioactive compounds responsible for the observed therapeutic effects, focusing on polyphenols, flavonoids and other secondary metabolites that play crucial roles in skin health. Her contribution involves not only characterising these compounds but also exploring their synergistic interactions within extracts. By being involved in elucidating the complex phytochemical profile of Epilobium extracts, she will contribute significantly to the formulation of cosmeceutical products, ensuring that their efficacy is based on rigorous scientific analysis.
