Dr hab. Agnieszka Partyka graduated in biology and defended her Ph.D. thesis titled “The Effect of Cryopreservation on Lipid Peroxidation and Antioxidant Balance in Avian Semen” at Wroclaw University in 2009. She became a member of the team at the Department of Reproduction and Clinic of Farm Animals at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences (UPWr) in 2010 and obtained habilitation in the discipline of veterinary science in 2018. Since 2020, she has been an associate professor at the Department of Reproduction and Clinic of Farm Animals.
Her scientific interests mostly concern andrology, molecular aspects of animal reproduction, the use of biotechniques, and reproductive biology of wild and domesticated birds. She has been a researcher in many scientific projects and the lead researcher of four projects financed by the Polish National Science Centre, the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and NAWA.
She gained professional experience and practical skills during internships in Germany, Belgium, France, and Spain. She is an active member of the Polish Society for Biology of Reproduction and the Association for Applied Animal Andrology. She has served on panels at the French Le Studium Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies and is an internationally recognized reviewer for various journals. Since 2020, she has been an Editorial Board Member of Animal Reproduction.
