Josep-Maria Arauzo-Carod is Professor of Economics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Catalonia, Spain), obtained his degree in Economics at the Universitat de Barcelona and his PhD in Economics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. He is Chair of the Research Center of Economics and Sustainability (ECO-SOS); vice-Chair of the Research Institute in Sustainability, Climate Change and Energy Transition (IU-RESCAT); Chair of the International Network for Economic Research (INFER) and Board Member of the Council of the Catalan Competition Commission (ACCO). His research topics include Urban and Regional Economics, Industrial Location, Firm Demography, Cultural and Creative Industries, Circular Economy, and Sustainability. Prof. Arauzo-Carod has published more than 60 papers in academic journals, 24 book chapters and 12 books. He has been Guest Editor in five academic journals and is currently member of the Editorial Review Board of Small Business Economics and Associated Editor of the Eurasian Business Review. Additionally, Prof. Arauzo-Carod has participated in 50 research and knowledge transfer projects, has made around 120 conference contributions, has been visiting fellow in several universities in the UK, Greece, China and Romania, has supervised 10 PhD dissertations and has participated in the organization of more than 80 workshops and conferences.
